Fedora (2024)

Fedora (2024), directed by Joshua Wittwer

Producer: Joshua Neyra Cutten

After discovering a magical fedora that, when worn, acts as a love potion, an insecure and jealous teenage boy tries to use it to convince his crush to go to the school ball with him.

On the eve of their Year 12 ball, best friends Henry and Edward face the night dateless. Edward remains unfazed, casually developing a slow-burn connection with Georgia, while Henry is consumed by his unrequited crush on Sarah – who already has a boyfriend, the effortlessly charming Chad. Desperate to win her over, Henry experiments with a bold new style and stumbles upon a mysterious fedora that casts an irresistible charm on any woman who sees him wear it. At first, the hat appears to be the answer to his dreams, even catching Sarah’s attention. But as the fedora’s power takes hold, Henry is forced to confront the darker side of desire, testing his morals and threatening the bond he shares with his best friend.
